Gamedevelopers.ie is happy to support ISA Con 2010, an animation and games event for students and industry professionals at the Irish School of Animation at Ballyfermot College, Dublin from the 7-8th of January, 2010.
The event runs from 5pm Thurs January 7th with a talk by Chris Dicker, Creative director of TT Animation and Co creator 'What's Your News' who is followed at 6pm by Louise Ridgeway, Head of Animation at Rare in the UK.
At 7pm Nick Ryan will speak about the making of 'The German' and Ruairi Robinson about 'Bad robot'. At 8pm there is a panel discussion including Jason Ryan, Chris Dicker, Louise Ridgeway, Ruairi Robinson and Stephen McFarlane. This is followed at 9pm by a networking event and later at 10pm by a Pegbar Animation Social event in a city centre location (TBC).
On Friday the 8th of January there is a talk from 10-12am by Jason Ryan from Dreamworks on animation in feature films.
In the afternoon from 2-4pm there is a portfolio session which is an open session (i.e. non-ticket holders can attend) and attendees can get advice from all the speakers on their work.
All events take place in the Anna Brett Hall in the Media Building in BCFE except for the Thurs night city centre social event.
Tickets costs €20 for waged or €15 unwaged.
